In "How do you know", without air, without joy, at times disturbing comedy written and directed by James L. When he calls, Lisa already seems under the spell of Matty (Owen Wilson), a major league pitcher with a lot of dough and a soft cracking attitude to life. So George strikes on strikes and again, but obviously not for long. In "How Do You Know," a romantic comedy about missed opportunities, written and otherwise, Reese Witherspoon wears a smile of industrial power and a twinkle in his eyes like laser is ready to kill. Although she regularly expressed frothy fare, Ms. Witherspoon comes with a hard drive, scary edge that most filmmakers ignore. Maybe she prefers light and beautiful darker and dangerous. But as she showed in Alexander Payne's 1999 comedy "Election" in which she plays a fierce high school climber in a dazzling performance which affected his career as a discovery dry, it can be a great threat.
