Reese Witherspoon was taken to a hospital in Santa Monica around 11:00 this morning, after hitting a car while she was jogging actress.
Law enforcement tells TMZ, Reese's injuries were very minor - nothing life threatening.
According to law enforcement, the driver was a woman of 84. We told the Reese was crossing the street at the time of the accident ... and the driver failed to stop.
The driver was cited for not yielding to a pedestrian and released.
